Avalancha started life in Mendoza, Argentina sometime in 2000. Silvio Gurrieri wanted to develope high performance technical products for white water sports.

The company is based on a philosophy of sustainability without compramising the highest safety standards to achieve the best performance in the most demanding conditions.
